In collaboration with Gallagher Design for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s newly renovated Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears Dynamic Earth Wing, opened December 13, 2024.
“We Are Stardust”
Blend of original sound effect design, music composition. “We Are Stardust” invites visitors to stand in front of a motion-tracking screen as they learn about the life cycle of a star.
“Scientists at Work”
Post-production mixing and sound effect editing. G&A worked with local scientists representing the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to film the process of gathering field notes for research. These films are are shown individually, explaining themes central to each respective section of the Dynamic Earth Wing.
Exhibition prototype: Painting with Sounds

Sound design prototype for Sounds and the Brain, a concept exhibit meant to bring a vibrant perspective on sound as a sensory phenomena by illuminating the depth behind everyday aural experiences.
Visitors will have a synesthetic experience by constructing their own personalized painting, based on the work of Wassily Kandinsky (Orange, 1923).
By selecting visual assets, associating them with corresponding sounds and colors, and placing them onto a canvas, users will feel a sense of ownership over their unique painting which now has a musical soundscape to represent it.
